BRIEF: Robin wanted to prepare the property for sale. It had been on the market for three years without a buyer.

SOLUTION: 

• We identified the undeveloped roof garden area as a special opportunity to add value to the home by creating a comfortable, beautiful outdoor lounging area. 

• Adding a deck with a pergola with transparent roofing sheets meant garden furniture could be left outside and it was a outdoor refuge even in the rain - perfect for a big family. It became a favourite spot for sun downers.   

• Planting: We created a lush green "floor" with stepping stones and ground covers. Soft ornamental grasses, pinks and white Spur flowers and white Leonotis attracted birds and looked great in the evening light.

It sold within 3 months of going back on the market with the new buyers naming the roof garden as one of their favourite features of their new home.
